Three-Phase Autotransformer

Economic solution for voltage adjustment in three-phase systems, ideal for industrial applications.

Three-phase autotransformers are designed to meet applications that require voltage step-up or step-down in electrical power distribution systems, providing efficiency, practicality, and cost savings. They differ from conventional transformers by using a single common winding for both primary and secondary, which reduces weight, dimensions, and cost.

Technical Characteristics

  • Nominal power range: from 3 kVA to 1000 kVA, adjustable according to the specific needs of each project.
  • Typical operating voltages: 220 V to 380 V + N, 440 V to 220 V + N, 380 V to 440 V + N, 220 V / 380 V, and 440 V + N – others available upon request.
  • Connection configurations: star (wye) with accessible neutral.
  • Operating frequency: 50 Hz or 60 Hz, meeting both national and international standards.
  • Electrical insulation: designed in thermal class F or H, ensuring resistance to temperature rise and longer equipment lifespan.
  • Degree of protection: available in IP-21, IP-23, or up to IP-55, depending on the environmental conditions of the installation site.
  • Cooling system: AN (Air Natural), ensuring efficient and reliable heat dissipation.
  • Construction: manufactured with grain-oriented silicon steel core and copper or aluminum windings, vacuum impregnated with insulating varnish, providing robustness, stable performance, and high durability.
