Applications

Starting Autotransformers are used in motors operated by compensator starters, with the main function of reducing current peaks during startup.
This feature prevents significant voltage drops in the electrical network.
The process occurs through the connection of the autotransformer in series with the compensator switch, supplying the motor with a reduced voltage in its windings. After the motor accelerates, the supply automatically returns to nominal voltage, ensuring greater safety and system efficiency.
